A new painting made on a cold winter day

Ahhhhh, I have been so busy making paintings commissioned by Nordstroms that I had to take a break to make this little guy. Its good to take a breath and just make whatever comes to mind. I stared painting on this at around 3 p.m. and did not leave my chair until it was done.

Oh and yes Nordstroms commissioned me to make 13 paintings for 5 of there west coast locations including one in Hawaii. The paintings will be hung in the girls dressing rooms. They are coming along rather well, lots of pink!

first, that painting is beautiful! i like the deeper color palette used and her curly hair rocks! secondly, congrats on the nordstrom deal!! wow, i'll go there specifically to see your lovely paintings! please let me know which locations they're housed in when the time comes. ^_^

I too think that this is beautiful painting and also like that you've used a dark color palette. And, yes... congratulations on your deal with Nordstrom. Baby One and I will have to check it out, otherwise they might think it unusal for me to be going into the girls' dressing room.

he he, I have been to the girls dressing room many times. Just try not to be creepy and no one will care. I have been painting tell 1 am everynight to get these paintings done. Oh my, its so much work, but i love every moment of it!

slowly but surely Vox is becoming the best blogging site on the net. once they implement email notifications for comments replied to in neighbor's blogs (i had no idea you replied to my comment), it WILL be the best. that's the only thing stopping me from giving Vox five stars, ha.
